    My family gets together on Christmas Eve to eat finger foods and open gifts. We've had this tradition ever since my girls were little - so 25 years!

    My favorite tradition is family, getting the whole family together. Having 16 aunts and uncles, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren spread around the country, it is almost an impossible feat!

    My husband takes my girls to Hallmark every year to pick out their new ornament they are now 14 & 15 and still love it. By the time they both move out will have enough ornaments for their own tree.

    One of my favorite traditions is Christmas Eve service at church when the lights are slowly turned down as everyone has a lit candle and we sing.

    Christmas tradition we have is making gingerbread houses, each family makes one house; so technically it's more of a village.

    Our family loves to decorate the tree and light the fireplace with Christmas music on. So pretty to look at the glow of the fire and the tree lights.
