Linky & Effort

Linking up with Farley today!!! I will be so happy when state assessments are done...we still have 4 more weeks (12 more days, since we only test Tuesday-Thursday)!  My comprehensive finals are next Thursday and Friday for my doctorate.  I've been studying like crazy, and I feel like my brain is going to explode!

Effort!
One of our school improvement goals is to improve effort. All year, we used these effort rubrics anytime students took a test.  It has made a big difference!!!!  Many teachers write the grade on the rubric, and parents have to sign it. It has helped with students taking more time, and double checking answers. Click to Download Effort Rubric

  1. Good luck with all that studying! I don't envy you. But do enjoy the spring weather. Maybe some studying outdoors is in order. :)

  4. Hey! I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. :)

I teach first so we do testing 3 times a year for the state in reading and math....my reading window to begin testing opens in about 2 weeks. Ick :(

Good advice. I need to remember that when I'm in one of my not so good moods.
